PROJECT: Camelia Cove Estate
SIZE: 26,500 sf
SCOPE: Masterplanning, Architecture
The Camelia Cove project is sited a 6 acre parcel nestled between Eden Gardens State Park and Choctawhatchee Bay in Pt. Washington, FL. A forest of heritage Live Oaks, Magnolias, and Longleaf pine trees blankets the site, up to the marshy shoreline of seagrass that fades into the tranquil bay waters.
For the first concept, we explored a sprawling estate embedding in the natural setting of the site, including a main residence, accessory wellness areas, guest cottages, and staff quarters. Outfitted to support an active lifestyle, the large pool, sports court, and dock for boat access provide an array of activities and adventures for a multigenerational family.
PROJECT: Camelia Cove Community
SIZE: 10 units, 4,600sf -6370sf
SCOPE: Masterplanning, Architecture
A second concept explores a 10-home community, built around the common amenity of the marina with boat slips, beach area, and shoreline pavilion where residents can enjoy access to the Bay. The homes are arranged to have an expansive decks and terraces with view towards the bay or adjacent marsh, while maintaining privacy. The architecture draws from a refined coastal vernacular, pairing clean lines with warm, natural materials to reflect a timeless aethtic. Rooted in both resilience and place-making, the development balances elevated design with sensitivity to wetlands, and the natural character of the Florida Panhandle.
